A girls' touching compilation video of her 87-year-old grandfather's reaction every time she visits him, has gone viral around the world.

Jennifer Barclay, from Scotland, took to Twitter to share the one minute clip of him greeting her at his front door when she arrives for dinner at his home.

The clip shows Jennifer's beaming grandfather, Robert, opening the door 17 times, and greeting Jennifer with a huge smile and some cheeky quips.

Captioning the video, Jennifer wrote: 'My wee Grandad, 87 years young and he's my number one guy.

'I love him with all my heart. And I love recording his reactions when I come to visit. I hope everyone can appreciate the video I've made as much as I do'.

Jennifer shared a second tweet, writing: 'No matter how many times I watch the video of my granddad opening the door, it brings a tear to my eye. So much love'. 

The video, which has since racked up over five million views in just two days, as well as hundreds of comments from followers reminiscing over their own grandparents.

Jennifer is so happy her Grandad is receiving worldwide fame that she has now set up Robert's own instagram page so she can keep his fans up to date with all this adventures!
