Mum’s BRILLIANT cleaning method that takes just HALF an hour a day

Housework is the bane of most women’s lives – it never seems to end, laundry keeps piling up and however hard you work, someone is working JUST as hard to wreck it all again.
However, Mum and blogger Gem of The Organised Mum has come up with a super-simple solution to the never-ending work – and it takes just 30 minutes a day.
“TOMM (The Organised Mum Method) is a realistic and fun way to keep on top of your home,” she says.
“If you want to have a home that looks great, have weekends that are free of housework AND still have time in the week to get on with the stuff that you actually enjoy.”
Her daily tasks (not included in the 30 minutes) are quick floor cleans of the main living areas, one load of laundry a day, making beds, and a quick bathroom tidy.
Next, she splits tasks up by just focusing on ONE area a day. Monday’s are for the living room, Tuesdays are for bedrooms, and so on.
“This will allow you to move your focus around the home, making sure that everywhere gets dealt with every week,” she explains.
“Spend no more than 30 minutes on these – it doesn’t matter if you don’t get everything done, you will be back in the same area on the same day next week!
“And remember the longer you follow the method, the cleaner your house will become and it will be easier and quicker to clean!
“When you first start, look at the list of jobs as a pick and mix and start with the most urgent first, then work your way through. Pretty soon you’ll be smashing through it!”
Gem has more than 150,000 followers on Instagram, and provides free printables and daily tips.
“I’ve been doing Team TOMM for a week and I feel so much better for doing it,” writes one fan on social media. “Before I’d feel really bad for the fact that I was a stay at home mum but couldn’t keep on top of the housework, breaking it down into 30/45 mins a day has really helped! Thanks so much!”
“Thank you - have just printed off the week 1-8 printouts! Back from holiday so a lot of washing/ironing today ontop but I will be caught up by the end of the day! Is it weird I'm excited about cleaning with a tick list?!” added another.
“You have the best methods, honestly!! Hooked,” wrote a third.
What do you think? Would you give this method a go?
