This baby name has been BANNED, but do you agree?

It's been classed as too shocking!

Parents who tried to register their dream baby name have been knocked back by officials after the name was deemed inappropriate.

The Danish parents wanted to call their baby, Monkey, but were told that they were not given permission by Copenhagen University's Names Investigation Department.

In Denmark, you can choose from 7,000 pre-approved names but if you're name is not on the list you must apply for permission. The couple did that but were turned down immediately.

More than 1,000 names are reviewed in Denmark every year and almost 20% are rejected.

Other baby names that have been banned are Anus (yes, that's Anus), Pluto and Jakobp.

In Victoria last year 46 names were banned by the Victorian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. Who knew!
