'I believe you didn't intentionally leave us’

The devastated wife of well-known chef, Justin Bull, has broken her silence since his shocking death, paying tribute to her beloved husband and the father of her son.

The acclaimed chef - who once travelled the world as Russell Crowe and James Packer’s former personal chef - was found dead at Huxton’s, the popular cafe he owned in Sydney’s Bronte.

Police have since confirmed they are not treating his death as suspicious.

Now Justine Kendall, his wife of 14 years, has broken her silence to speak of his tragic passing, revealing that she doesn’t believe he ‘intentionally’ meant to leave her and their six-year-old son, Felix.

'I believe you didn't intentionally leave us. But that in a clouded moment you just couldn't see a clear path through,' she said.

'I will do everything I can to make sure your memory stays alive with Lixy and he achieves and experiences all the things we talked so much about. As a team and family we had so many dreams.

'I'm just so sorry I couldn't help you feel better but I hope your mind is now at rest and you are at peace. And you continue to look over us and help guide us through life.'

Justine posted two lengthy farewell posts on Instagram, praising him as a husband and especially a father.

She wrote: ‘Juz, you were an energetic, passionate, talented charismatic, funny, hardworking and generous man.

'My best friend and partner in life for almost 20 years, the most wonderful father to Felix I could have hoped for, a fantastic son, brother and loyal friend.

'When Lixy was born your love was immediate and so fierce.

She added: ‘You were the most amazing and fun dad and Lixy idolized you. You were the best of mates, you are his hero.

'Felix says he will look up for you as a shooting star.'

Speaking of her devastated over losing her husband, Justine says her heart ‘will never heal.’

'We are so heartbroken and devastated and still in shock. I can’t believe I won’t ever see you again,' she wrote.

'I keep expecting you to come down the stairs or hear your infectious and raucous laughter from the top of the hill.

'I know my heart will never heal, the void you have left is too great to fill. We were soulmates and while we were so different, we just had this love that kept us together no matter how we were tested.'

And with casino and media tycoon James Packer reportedly flying in for his friend's funeral, the heartbroken wife also revealed that Huxton’s had reopened ‘in celebration’ of Justin’s life - with locals showing their support to the late chef and his family.

'Your loyal, awesome staff have rallied together and opened the cafe for us today as a celebration of your life,' she wrote.

'It was rocking today and if you could see it you would realise how loved you were by so many.'

She added: 'Everyone is so blessed and lucky to have had you in our lives. I hope you are kicking back up there somewhere with some rocking tunes, a red wine and cigar in hand and smiling peacefully.'
