Franki Hobson is a women’s lifestyle journalist and editor with more than twenty years’ experience.

Franki’s career began at Cosmopolitan magazine, where she was responsible for covering health, sex and relationships, careers, lifestyle and entertainment. After a short stint at DOLLY magazine as the Deputy Editor, Franki was made Editor of the Cosmopolitan Brand Extensions - Cosmopolitan Bride, Pregnancy, Hair & Beauty and Cosmopolitan Health. Simultaneously, Franki took on Australia’s then number one teen magazine, DOLLY magazine, as Editor-in-Chief.

In 2013 Franki joined TheCarousel.com as Lifestyle Director, covering everything from home décorating to parenting, travel, bridal, health and well-being, cars, entertainment, fashion, news, celebrity, food – the lot!

It was here that her love affair with the digital world really began, and was the inspiration behind the launch of FRANKIxo.com in 2015 - Franki's parenting blog for mums.

For the following three years Franki wrote both branded content and editorial for a range of publications including Fairfax titles SMH.com.au, TheAge.com.au, BrisbaneTimes.com.au, GoodFood.com.au, ExecutiveStyle.com.au and EssentialBaby.com.au, as well as other publishers including Bauer, News.com.au and 9Honey.com.au.

Today, Franki writes for a host of Pacific Publications titles including BHG.com.au (Better Homes & Gardens), WomensHealth.com.au, MensHealth.com.au, Who.com.au, NewIdea.com.au, Home Beautiful, That’s Life and of course, PracticalParenting.com.au.

On the home front, Franki is the proud mum of two beautiful boys, Maxwell, 10, and Louis, 1 ½. She continues to write for her blog FRANKIxo.com in her spare time (because there's loads of that!). Otherwise, you'll find her chauffeuring the younglings all over town to extracurricular activities, typing until her fingers cramp and sun lounging with a phone in one hand a glass of Pinot Noir in the other.
