Big Bang Theory: It's all over!

The Big Bang Theory is imploding! The show will be no more after its 12^thseason.

Show bosses confirmed today that it’s time for the final big bang to come and the show will end for good.

"We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past 12 seasons," the show's producer Chuck Lorre said in a statement.

"We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show's success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close."

The show made household names of Johnny Galeki, Jim Parsons and Kayley Cuoco but after 287 episodes of the show, it’s thought that the casts’ pay demands were just too large.

Currently the original cast are being paid US$900,000 per episode with other cast members receiving around US$500,000 per episode.

There’s no word on how the show will end but devastated fans have taken to Twitter to talk about their dream ending.

 ‘Maybe they will get the elevtor fixed at last,’ said one. ‘And then it will explode.’

 ‘My life will never be the same,’ added another fan. ‘I am devastated.’
