WOW! A zoo is giving you the chance to name a cockroach after your ex for Valentine's Day!

And people can't get enough!

February 05 2019

A zoo has come up with a unique (and genius) way of marking Valentine's Day -  by asking you to name a cockroach after your ex!

It costs just $1.70 at the UK's Hemsley Conservation Centre to name the creepy-crawly in time for February 14.

While they're doing it to raise money for future zoo projects, it gives ex-partners a chance to finally get some closure  after a split in time for Valentine's Day!

Here's how it works...

You pay $1.70 and choose the name of one of the cockroaches on display. The zoo will display the names right next to the cockroach exhibit.

In addition, you'll get an official certificate from the Hemsley Conservation Centre, saying, "I’ve named a cockroach at the Hemsley Conservation Centre in the not so loving memory of my worthless ex!"

This is what the zoo said on their  Facebook page.

"Now, we know it's a little over a month away, but we know you like to be organised!

For those that don’t quite require revenge, there’s another way to make you feel better about getting back at your ex this Valentine’s Day.

The HCC is offering the chance to name a cockroach in honor of your, or your friend's worthless ex-“someone” on this special holiday of love.

We are highlighting these creatures through our ‘name a cockroach programme’ (we think adopt is a little too strong, after all - you probably don't want to adopt your ex) to raise money for our projects at the zoo."
