Woolworths supermarket further restrict limits on purchases amid coronavirus panic buying

Supermarket giant Woolworths has followed Coles and have now place shopping limits on milk amid coronavirus panic buying.

As of today, March 19, customers are limited to just 2 items of fresh milk per shop. This however excludes flavoured milk.

The milk restrictions are the latest in the fight against panic buying, Woolworths have said there is an ‘unprecedented demand’ across the nation for grocery items.

Current product restrictions:

One per customer:

*Toilet paper

*Baby wipes

*Antibacterial wipes

*Paper towel

*Serviettes

*Rice (2kg and over)

Two per customer:

*Milk (excluding flavoured milk)

*Every other product category

 

No limits currently in place:

* Fresh fruit and vegetables

*Meat (excluding mince)

*Deli

*Bakery

*Seafood

*Fresh Milk

*Canned Fish

*Drinks

*Baby Food

*Yoghurt

*Easter confectionary and merchandise 

*Wet Dog Food

*Wet Cat Food
