An urgent recall of popular cooking sauce has been issued.

The family favourite and stable in many kitchen pantries across the nation, Chicken Tonight, has been pulled from supermarket shelves across the nation.

Chicken Tonight Cashew Satay Cooking Sauce 500g is sold in all states at Woolworths, Coles and IGA supermarkets.

 

 

The recall is due to the potential presence of an undeclared allergen (peanuts).

Consumers with a peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if these products are consumed.

The recall applies only to products with Best Before 1 01 22 and all earlier Best Before dates.

Consumers with a peanut allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
