Weekend Sunrise’s Talitha Cummins Welcomes Her First Child

Weekend Sunrise journalist Talitha Cummins and husband Ben Lucas have welcomed their first child.
The couple took to Instagram to share their happy news just hours after son Oliver was born, sharing several snaps of the photogenic newborn.
"Here's finally here.. Hello baby! Meet Oliver Paul Lucas. Born last night at 5.50pm, a very healthy 3.87kg. Mum and Dad are completely in [love]," the proud mama wrote.
Meanwhile, dad Ben added that their furry baby – dog Wilbur – was "pumped to meet his little bro"!
The couple shared their first ultrasound of their baby boy 26 weeks ago, with Talitha admitting she had been "trying to hide the bump on Weekend Sunrise for a few weeks" though some of her co-workers had already guessed she was pregnant.
Low-key couple Talitha and Ben – a fitness trainer – ditched their plans for an extravagant wedding in Hamilton Island in favour of eloping to New York in October 2013.
"We’ll have some explaining to do when we get home, but eloping comes highly recommended," the now 36-year-old said at the time. "It’s the happiest day of our lives in the best city in the world."
