She seems to have the perfect life with her multi-million dollar empire and rock-hard abs, but it appears even Michelle Bridges isn’t immune to the perils of life with a newborn.
The Biggest Loser trainer has admitted she hasn’t had a full night’s sleep since giving birth to son Axel seven months ago, and is now resorting to employing a night nanny to give her some desperately needed shut-eye.
"I've been given heaps of advice from lots of different people saying I should [get a night nanny]," the star told Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur on The Morning Show. "I still haven't managed to get her to my place yet! But I'll still get her in this week."
While the fitness guru is loving first-time motherhood, since welcoming Axel last December with partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis, she says night times are a nightmare because her son "just wants to party".
Speaking out in an emotional Facebook post recently, Michelle lamented the lack of sleep that comes part and parcel with parenthood. "So hand over heart, I have to say it's been seven months and I have not slept a full night," she wrote. "I didn't even know that was possible but apparently it is. I'm still talking, just."
