Little girl has the perfect response to other kids staring at her birth mark
This is priceless!
A two-year-old girl with a large birthmark on her face has responded brilliantly to other kids' reactions on her first day of preschool.
Little Lydia Wilson Bossley noticed some of the other kids were whispering about her so she simply walked over to her cubby and pulled out a copy of a book she had brought about birthmarks. She then handed it to the teacher to read to the class.
Her mum Kelly, writing on the Facebook page Love What Matters, said the book called Sam’s Birthmark encourages kids to embrace people’s differences.
As she said, her daughter isn’t yet three but “her resilience and ability to self-care blows me away”.

I grew up in New Zealand, moved to London in my early 20s to work on British newspapers then moved to Australia when I was pregnant with my first child. I write a newspaper column, celebrity interviews and a parenting page. I also do TV and radio commentary, podcasting and host corporate events. I’ve also published a book on parenting, The Smallest Things. However, my greatest role – and the one I’m most proud of – is parenting my daughters, Eliza and Lilibelle, who are 17 and 14.
