The photo that broke Sally Faulkner into a million pieces

In her latest Facebook post, Brisbane mum Sally Faulkner says her “heart is broken into a million pieces.”
The post comes after finding a picture from her son Noah’s class. The snap shows a table of photos of the students with their mums. However, instead of a photo with his mum, Noah’s was instead a “simple self-portrait,” writes Faulkner.
“I've had countless photos taken with my children for the years before we were so cruelly separated from each other,” she writes.
“This morning I woke up to find this photo. My heart absolutely broke into a million pieces.”
She added: “Our little angel Noah. His daddy couldn't even find a photo of the two of us and put it on the table with the other photos. Instead, a simple portrait photo of Noah went on the table. The only child in that class that didn't have a photo of their mummy with them.”
The mum says it has now been over two years since she has had contact with Lahela and Noah.
