The latest trend in getting kids to behave this Christmas is here.
Similar to Elf On A Shelf, Santa Cam is a literal take on the saying “Santa’s Watching You.”
The pseudo camera, created by Hayley Donaldson of Emmiroo’s Photography and Gifts in England, sits in households giving the illusion children are under surveillance from Santa Claus himself.
“This year, I need to keep a very close eye on you all so I’ve installed some cameras that link right up to me at the North Pole,” a letter accompanying the camera reads.
“It’s not something really serious and I think my little boy is going to absolutely love his,” Donaldson told Gazette Live. “He will love that Santa is watching him for real.”
There’s no doubt the Santa Cam is great idea, but instead of buying one, some parents have opted to make it themselves.
