Popular TV presenter Sally Obermeder has revealed what she did when her daughter had a ‘meltdown’ in a café – and parents everywhere are loving it!
The Daily Edition presenter – who also has her own online fashion store called SWIISH – revealed she had ‘fled’ during the incident with her youngest daughter Elyssa over the long weekend.
‘Walking into the last few hours of the long weekend, child free,’ the star wrote candidly alongside a photo of herself on Instagram.
'This morning I fled, yes actually fled the cafe with the vegemite toast in my handbag ... not in a brown paper bag or anything ... just in my handbag because elyssa had an epic meltdown where you could have heard her 2 states away.
‘So the next two hours are so needed,’ the popular personality went on.
The star’s Instagram followers were quick to show their support – with many relating to her predicament.
‘Bless you Sally. I’m well aware of that feeling. Hopefully you return feeling ready to fight another Mummy day. Wine helps... a lot,’ one commenter wrote.
‘Bless, there wouldn’t have been an adult in sight who didn’t feel for you. Sweet dreams,’ wrote another.
Sally was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer while she was pregnant in October 2011.
She welcomed a little girl Annabelle before then undergoing 16 rounds of chemotherapy.
Elyssa Rose was born in the US, via a surrogate named Rachel in December 2016.
