Edoardo is the father of 2-year-old Christopher Woolf, whom he shares with his former long-term partner Dara Huang – and come next year, Bea will become the first princess in the Queen’s family to ever become a stepmum.

Far from any drama between the two women in the tot’s life, “Dara thinks Beatrice is wonderful with Wolfie,” a source tells the Daily Mail. “She’s a natural.”

Beabea - wow! I'm so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo. It's been a long time coming and you two are meant to be. 📷 by me!! "We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can't wait to actually be married. We share so many similar interests and values and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness"

And in case you were wondering, yes – Bea and Edo are planning to have a family of their own after they tie the knot! “She adores kids,” royal expert Angela Mollard revealed on the podcast Royals. “She’s really keen … she wants that to be a part of herfuture.”

And her mum, Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson, will certainly be ready when it happens. “I want to be a granny!” she has said.
