‘The worst part of travelling is having to leave them’

Carey Hart has returned back to the US for work while wife Pink recuperates in Australia, after being forced to cancel her shows due to illness.

Hart shared some beautiful family snaps of their time in Australia together on Instagram, saying the ‘Sh***y part about travelling is having to leave them.’

Pink is currently in Sydney with her children recuperating at a city hotel after spending some time at St Vincent’s hospital over the weekend.

The singer has been unwell and suffering from dehydration and gastroenteritis.

While she was keen to go on with her scheduled show at Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, she made the decision to reschedule her performance on “medical advice.”

She is expected to make a decision today about whether her Thursday show will go ahead.

Last week Pink responded to those who had criticised her decision to postpone the shows, saying “You can think whatever you want, it’s your right, but I have never taken advantage of any one in my entire life.

“I have an impeccable record for not cancelling. I mother with everything I have whilst handling all the rest… I’m sorry to the real fans who this situation has affected."

Hart is planning to return to Australia later in the week, according to the Gold Coast Bulletin.
