In the latest issue of Instyle Australia, Offspring star Asher Keddie opened up about motherhood and balancing her career.
After giving birth to her son Valentino, now one, the mother admitted the experience "changed" her. “It’s full of challenges and it’s a rollercoaster, emotionally and physically, and there’s no point in lying about that because it is. It was challenging, but it was also the most full of love any time has ever felt for me … I wasn’t expecting it to give me so much purpose."
However, playing the role of mum was only semi-new to Asher. She shared that she'd already received a "massive crash course in parenting" after becoming a stepmother to her husband Vincent Fantauzzo's son, Luca.
With the Australian hit television show set to make a comeback, the actress reveals the work dynamic will be a little different this time round. "I wasn't ready to separate myself from my 13 month old," she shared. "He's going to come to work but spend some time at home, too. I'm armed with help because I have to be, and I'm hoping I won't fall too short in all areas."
