Mum left red-faced after wearing a kinky item in public

A mum was dashing around doing her daily errands wearing an item on her head that is best left for the bedroom, completely unaware until her young daughter pointed it out.

Posting on popular forum Mumsnet, the woman wrote: “Hurrying to get ready this morning and trying to quickly slap on some make-up, I couldn’t find a bobble.

“My DD [darling daughter] was being really difficult so I abandoned the make-up idea and just left.

“Went to school and had a meeting with a couple of teachers. Then went to a hospital appointment and to a cafe afterwards.

“Home now, my DD walked in and said: ‘Haa, mum why do you have knickers in your hair?’. Yup that’s right. I’ve had thongs [a G-string] tying my hair up all day.”

The mum questioned why no-one said anything all day, and admitted she had received a few funny looks. Hilarously, she misread them and glared people down in response.

“Two women were giving me funny looks in the cafe but as DD has a noticeable disability I presumed they were staring at her and gave them a well practised ‘don’t stare at my daughter’ look back,” she wrote.

“DD said they were glaringly obvious. Would you have said anything? Shall I say anything to the consultants when we’re back on Thursday, so they don’t think I’ve lost my marbles. Oh no… I might just move countries.”

Too funny – at least they were clean!
