Mum Changes Baby’s Name Because Nobody Can Pronounce It
Even the baby’s grandmother couldn’t say it!
Like any new parent, Carri Kessler thought long and hard about a name for her new baby.
And after meeting a friend called Ottilie she settled on the name for her daughter.
But as soon as people tried to pronounce the name they got stuck - even her grandmother couldn’t remember how to say it.
By the time their daughter was three months, friends were still struggling and so Carri and her husband Will knew they had to change it.
Carri sent out a mass email confirming the change to …. Margot.
Now she no longer cringes when people say her daughter’s name!
