Canadian Crooner Michael Bublé is set to hit our shores in October, when he’ll play Allianz Stadium.
The singer and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, recently welcomed a new baby girl to the family – a little sister for their boys Noah and Elias.
In his first radio interview since his daughter’s birth, Michael spoke to smooth 95.3’s Bogart & Glenn this morning and revealed that his family will be joining him when he comes to Australia.
His baby daughter is just a few days old but has already won his heart, and the 42-year-old also spoke about the special meaning behind her name.
“The reason that we named her ‘Vida’, is because… ‘Vida’ means ‘life’ in Spanish. That’s my wife’s heart language,” he says.
“It was really a beautiful miracle for us. We always wanted to have a little girl and we had two beautiful boys so it’s perfection.”
His sons adore their new sister, the singer added, saying: “My boys love her. It’s sweet, they’re very gentle.
“The first days as a parent, you know it’s fun, you don’t have a lot of time to do much but there’s a lot of doting and a lot of family coming over so it’s pretty great.”
Michael's brood will be joining him in Oz, with the singer saying that he won’t get out of nappy duties!
“My kids are going to come with me, my kids show up everywhere with me,” he explained.
“Yeah the family’s traveling as much as we can. I don’t want to miss stuff, so as much as we can we’ll be together.
And their plans for their Australian visit?
“You know I think we’re just like any other tourist that comes, I think we just love going for walks. We love that we get sunny weather, most of the time.
“We’re no different to any other family, we love going to see movies, as a matter of fact as I’m speaking to you in this interview, my whole family is inside watching the new Incredibles movie and we’re also giving Disney more money.”
