Jessica Biel Timberlake has revealed she is supporting an anti-vaccination bill in America by lobbying politicians.

The mum-of-one spent time with renowned anti-vaxx supporter, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in America where he called her 'courageous' for urging lawmakers to oppose SB 276, a bill limiting medical exemptions from vaccinations without approval from a state public health officials.

'[Jessica] is upset about this issue because of its particular cruelty. She has friends who have been vaccine-injured... explained Kennedy to The Daily Beast.

He explained that if the bill became law, a doctor could exempt a child from vaccination on health grounds but they would be forced to still have the inoculations under this statute.

'The biggest problem with the bill,' he said. 'Which is something I think Jessica is concerned with is that a doctor who has made a determination - if he has found children in this state whose doctors have determined that they're too fragile to receive vaccinations - this bill would overrule the doctors and force them to be vaccinated anyways.'

It is thought that Jessica and Justin did not vaccinate their son, Silas Randall, 4.

The reception to the Instagram post was mixed with supporters thanking her for stepping up to petition and be honest about her views on vaccination when it could put her in the firing line from many who don't agree with her. But others slammed them for the increase of diseases like German Measles in America.

Vaccination in children is a point of contention across the world.

Much of the information that claims vaccines can cause autism and other childhood illnesses came from Dr Andrew Wakefield whose work has been discredited by many doctors and health officials, since 1998.
