Is Kate Middleton pregnant with her fourth baby?

The royal family, via Kensington Palace, has taken an unusual step by releasing a statement after there were at least four reports that she was about to announce a Christmas pregnancy.

Eight months after the birth of her third, and youngest, child Prince Louis the American media was a-buzz with reports she was going to have another child next year.

Duchess Catherine is already the proud mum to her three children, Princess Charlotte, Princess George and Prince Louis.

And according to Star magazine, the Cambridges are adding to their brood - bumping up to four kids.

“A baby girl is on the way for the radiant royal couple.”

Kensington Palace has shared its thoughts to express.co.uk about the report.

"Kensington Palace officials refused to comment to express.co.uk on the claims. They added if Kate were pregnant, an official statement would be released," the site shared.

Given the fact that in recent times, the palace is known to shut down reports they deem false, this refusal to deny the pregnancy questions, could mean the royal family will be welcoming another baby in 2019. This is how they announced the couple's third baby - Louis.

Betting sites are reporting plenty of action with bets being placed on Kate's potential 4th baby.

Bookies Coral have released odds of Duchess Catherine giving birth in 2019 at 3/1 and 10/1 a pregnancy would be announced before the end of 2018.

Coral's Harry Aitkenhead said: "Our odds show that there's every chance that Kate and Wills might add to their growing family, and a fourth baby is certainly a possibility.

“We've taken some bets over the last two weeks or so on it happening and there's a real buzz around the Royal family at the moment with Meghan expecting.”
