The anonymous bride shared a video and photos of herself in the white romper and asked Facebook friends what they thought of the daring design which will be worn at a beach wedding.
With its glittery lace bodice and tiny shorts, the bodysuit also has a detachable sparkly tulle overlay skirt that can be worn to walk down the aisle.
She's also had matching ribbon sandals made to top off the look, that she clearly loves.
However, the video was then shared on the Facebook group That's It, I'm Wedding Shaming where it has sparked heated debate among most of the 94,000 members.
Commenting on the lacy number, one follower declared, "I hate it. Loathe it."
And blasting the "tacky" outfit, one follower wrote: "You better get some clothes on before your [mother-in-law] and her family have an en masse hissy fit.
"What is with the thing around the hips? It's a no from me."
One left other followers in no doubt of their feelings when they said, "I don't need to see your v** at your wedding."
Meanwhile, one user wrote: "I love her confidence but that dress is a nope."
But not every SLAMMED the look. "Honestly, the piece itself is gorgeous," one wrote. "She seems thrilled and it fits her beautifully!"
Praising the downright "gorgeous" design, another added: "I wanted to hate this. I really did. But it's kind of amazing."
What do you think?
