Former Home and Away star Esther Anderson has shared her first post birth photo.

Taking to her Instagram page, Esther – who swapped Summer Bay for LA for a change of scene and new challenges – the new mum shared a snap of herself and adorable baby boy Forest.

‘#Forest #Mumlife,’ she simply captioned the snap.

Esther looked glowing with happiness in the image – showing her baby boy snuggled against her chest.

Introducing her bundle of fun on August 6, Esther shared her joy.

‘The love of our lives,’the star wrote alongside two love heart emojis.

‘Our darling boy Forest Jack Moggs is here and arrived weighing 8.5lbs.

‘We couldn’t be more in love with this beautiful little soul,’ she added.

Days later, she thanked fans for their support.

‘Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for all your lovely messages and warm wishes on the birth of Forest,’ the actress wrote.

‘We appreciate all the luvin… please excuse my absence on here a bit as we enjoy this incredible (and BUSY) time together.’

Opening up previously to New Idea about her pregnancy, Esther – whose partner is advertising executive Howard ‘Howie’ Moggs, 36 - said a baby wasn’t totally planned.

‘We weren’t actually trying the month I got pregnant, because I had a movie role,’ she said.

‘However, baby wanted to come join us! I was five months pregnant by the time we finished the film, so they were shooting around me, which was actually a lot of fun.’
