The Perth mum who gave birth to quintuplets has shared her heartbreak as one of her babies was rushed to hospital.
Kim Tucci, who runs the blog Surprise by Five, took to Facebook to update fans of her Facebook page on Tiffany’s condition.
‘My heart is so heavy,’ wrote Tucci, ‘Tiffany was transferred not long after yesterday's post to Princess Margaret Hospital with Bronchiolitis and a possible twisted bowel.
‘She hasn't fed since yesterday at 4am and even a tube feed of 5mil can't be tolerated. Being in a position watching your child struggle to breath is heart breaking!
‘What breaks my heart even more is that a child in the same hospital we are at has died today of Meningococcal.
She finished the post saying, ‘Go and give your children an extra hug and kiss tonight, life is so very precious.’
Tucci gave birth to quintuplets - safely welcomed the arrival of a new boy, named Keith, and his four sisters - Tiffany, Penelope, Allie and Beatrix - in January going from mum-of-three to mum-of-eight.
