In what has been described as the ‘worst product of the year’, some parents are going to great lengths to make sure everyone knows the gender of their baby.
Girlie Glue is an adhesive product that parents are using to attach bows and ribbons to their baby girl’s head – to make them more girlie.
“Girlie Glue is an all-natural accessory glue – no hair necessary!" says the Girlie Glue website. "Fancy possibilities are endless with a dab of Girlie Glue.
“It’s made of Agave nectar and other all-natural ingredients. It’s safe, 100% honey-free and washes away easily with water."
"It's never too early to be girlie," adds the product description on the manufacturer's website.
While the product has been around awhile, it’s received a lot of attention in the media recently – much of it negative.
That said, plenty of parents have left positive reviews on Amazon.
"Good product, recommend for those light florwers, not recomended for bulky head ornament," wrote one happy customer.
Another added: "Omgosh this is a definite go-to product for baby girls with no hair!! Stuck my babies bows on perfectly and washed off so easy!! Love this product.!"
What do you think? Would you use Girlie Glue?
