Parenting... it can be tough.

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell are arguably one of the funniest couples in Hollywood, and with two young daughters at home, they have some hilarious parenting stories to tell. The CHiPs star stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday and told her about the time he accidentally taught his toddler the f-word.
One night after singing his girls Lincoln and Delta to sleep, Shepard bent down and slammed the bridge of his nose into their bookshelf. “Hardest I’ve ever been hit in the nose. Almost blacked out. I let a couple ‘motherf—ers’ rip,” he said.
“The kids had just heard ‘Wheels on the Bus’ and then I was screaming that. And then, the worst part of the story is two days later, Kristen is walking down the hallway and Lincoln is in her room trying to get a sweatshirt off. She’s like 3. And her arms are all bound up in it. She’s getting frustrated, and she goes, ‘Ow, f—,’” he told DeGeneres.
“And Kristen comes in the kitchen, she goes, ‘She just said oh, f—.’ And I go, ‘OK, here’s what we do. We pretend it never happened. We’ll ignore it. If she finds out we don’t want her to say it, she’ll say it all the time.’ About five hours later we’re at a pool party. I swear to God, she’s in the pool. She goes, ‘This pool’s f—ing warm.’”
Luckily, by repeatedly ignoring the curse, they got their toddler to stop saying it. But the couple couldn’t help but be proud of her proper verbiage. “Sidenote: We were like, ‘She’s nailing the syntax. She’s used it as an adjective, as an adverb.’ We were proud, and she stopped saying it,” he joked.
Parenting goals right there.
