Conjoined Twins Separated At A Tennessee Hospital
They are making a good recovery.

A Nigerian mum is ‘rejoicing’ after her conjoined twins were separated at a Tennessee hospital.
The 18-hour surgery took place on November 7 sisters Miracle and Testimony Ayeni are doing well.
“Without faith, things wouldn’t have worked out,” the girls’ father, Sam Ayeni (pictured above), said in a statement.
Mother Mary Ayeni, said, “I’m rejoicing. I’m happy because they are one and they are separated, alive and safe. That’s my joy.”
The twin girls were born in in Enugu State, Nigeria in 2015. In January this year, Nigerian-based Linking Hands Foundation (LHF) referred them to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis where they travelled in June and underwent the life-saving surgery free of charge.
According to CBS8, "the girls shared a colon, their kidneys were hooked, and their pelvises were fused and open, causing their legs to splay out at 90-degree angles."
Dr. William Warner told the publication he hopes "they'll be able to [walk and play and run]."
