She may have the face of an angel, but deep down Chrissy Teigen is a mere mortal just like the rest of us.

The model and mum-of-two, currently in Bali with her family, posted on Twitter that hubbie John Legend has finally admitted to her that her breath "stinks."

“For the first time in 12 years, John has said yes to my question of ‘does my breath stink’ – this is a special day”, she tweeted to her 10.6 million followers.

“I have begged, begged him to tell me my breath stinks. For 12 years. And he always said no. He says it's truly just the first time it has ever stunk to him. He can smell garlic when I speak, from feet away. 3 feet away. It's wonderful. I'm so happy.”

Hundreds of fans replied to Teigen’s Tweet, including celebrity fan Cher, who Tweeted: “This is truly relationship goals.”

The fun-loving model has also been posting plenty of pics on Insta of her relaxing family holiday in Indonesia, including one with a sleeping baby Miles on her chest, captioned “Just being my sweet, peaceful self.”

The loved-up couple are clearly enjoying their Bali getaway, and are focusing on their young children, with Legend telling People magazine recently that they have scaled back on work commitments since baby Miles joined the family.

“We’ve been home a lot. We haven’t been working much at all,” the singer said. “I’ve barely been working and Chrissy hasn’t really been working at all, and so we spend a lot of time at home. We just enjoy each other’s company.”

“We like to cook. We like to relax with friends. We like to have people come over,” he added. “A lot of it’s just the nuts and bolts of making sure Miles is fed. Making sure he sleeps well. Making sure we burp him. Making sure we change his diaper. It’s just the practical everyday things of being a parent, and so we’re immersed in that time in his life right now.”
