Beloved children’s book classic Corduroy could be hitting the big screens.
A movie adaptation of Don Freeman’s book, which has sold millions of copies worldwide, is in negotiations with CBS Films with Tim Story signed on to direct.
Originally published in 1968, Corduroy tells the story of a department store bear who goes on an adventure to find his missing button in the hopes that someone will buy him.
The adaptation follows the wildly successful Paddington movie, starring Nicole Kidman, which earned a massive $288m worldwide, according to Forbes.
While the project is in still in the development phase, we can't wait to see this little bear in action.
