Celeb Parents Need A Mediator To Choose Baby Name
They feared they'd divorce over it!
Deciding on a baby name can be tricky but for one celebrity couple the arguments developed into a full-blown war.
British TV host Cat Deeley and her comedian husband Patrick Kielty have revealed they needed a mediator to step in when they reached an impasse.
Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, Cat revealed the arguments over what to call their first child, a boy, were "awful".
'We weren't talking to each other - it was just horrific,' she revealed, adding that she feared Patrick was going to file for divorce.
In the end her mother stepped in as a mediator when Cat wanted something simple and Patrick wanted something more "out there".
Cat's mum asked what name they'd chosen for a girl, and when the couple replied "Milo" she suggested they use if for their son since it was also a boy's name.
