Carrie Bickmore adores her job but like many working mums, her job does cost her something that is invaluable: Time with her kids.
The Project host is one of the most beloved personalities in Australia.
But the soon-to-be mum-of-three admits that working means you sometimes miss huge moments.
Bickmore tells Stellar that she's missed some pretty big moments in her son's life because of her job.
"I don't get to see all of Ollie's tennis wins, or his musical performances, due to being a working mum. It's sucked many times," she shared about her 11-year-old.
"I recall distinctly sitting on The Project desk getting minute by minute updates of a basketball grand final a few years back where Ollie won the game for the team with a free throw in the final seconds."
The pregnant personality remarked, "He was on such a high for days afterwards. But for me, it was brutal. I missed it."
Bickmore is the proud mum of Ollie, who she had with her first partner Greg and three-year-old Evie with partner Chris Walker.
