So exciting! Buckingham Palace releases statement about Meghan Markle’s pregnancy

Over the past five months or so, we’ve seen plenty of photos of Meghan Markle out and about, enjoying her pregnancy, travelling overseas and attending Royal engagements.
However, it’s believed that the Duchess of Sussex is now on a maternity leave of sorts, reports Red Magazine.
While her maternity leave hasn’t been officially confirmed, Buckingham Palace have released a statement saying that she does not “currently have any more official engagements scheduled.”

As her due date is believed to be around five or six weeks away, any public engagements carried out by the royal family will not involve Meghan.
So for the meantime, we probably won’t see any official press photos of Meghan as she goes into the “nesting” period of her pregnancy, however according to Vanity Fair she plans to work up until her due date if possible.
According to the Buckingham Palace statement, this work includes “several private meetings.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will also be very busy with their move from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage, following major renovations to get the home ready for the new family.
