Loving how these have been flooding social media over the past several days! Here's mine with my oldest when he was just a few months old. I was able to breastfeed him past 18 months, several months into my second pregnancy with his little brother! #treeoflife #breastisbest #normalizebreastfeeding 👌

I usually never share intimate photos such as this, but this campaign of mothers coming together to post a #brelfie of themselves nourishing their beautiful babies struck a cord in me as a fellow breastfeeding mom. I breastfed Fiona for two years combined with bottle feeding. Now, I exclusively breastfeed Quincy going strong for 8 months now ever since he was born. It's not always easy and comes with it's fair share of challenges and exhaustion. It's supply and demand. It is 24/7. It is tiring. It is selfless. No matter how you nourish your kids, all mom's are doing fantastic. But this is also in an effort to normalize breastfeeding as it is one of the most beautiful things a mother can do for their baby for no matter how long, how short or at all. Through breastfeeding both of my babies, I have formed a bond with them that can never be broken. #NormalizeBreastfeeding #TreeOfLife

The app has also been used by mums who bottlefeed their baby's.

"As a mum who couldn't breastfeed after getting golden staph in both breasts! I absolutely love this!!!" one mum said in response to @ryanandcass on Instagram.
