We defy you NOT to cry after watching the video of this adorable baby girl hear her sister’s voice for the first time .

Baby Scarlet, who is 11-months-old, was born three months premature and developed a stomach infection soon after birth.

Doctors treated her with antibiotics and while it cured the incredibly painful infection, it also caused hearing loss and little Scarlet became totally deaf.

But the adorable baby girl has now been fitted with a hearing aid and her family captured the touching moment she heard her older sister Halie’s voice clearly for the first time.

Her mum Carol wrote on Facebook, "Hearing aids make a WORLD of difference! I am so blessed and thankful for Atlanta Hearing Associates in Milledgeville for all that they have done for our baby girl. Anyway, enjoy one of the absolute best days of our lives. By the way, I'm crying, you're crying, everyone is crying."

As Scarlet sits on her mother’s lap, Halie, 4, stands by her side and says “Baby sister” until she gets a reaction from little Scarlet.

Scarlet then starts uncontrollably giggling as if she can't believe she can finally hear Halie’s voice.

Her mum, Carol, then starts laughing through tears and says “Oh my God,” throughout the whole home video.

Watch it here. Tissues ready?
