An 11-year-old Australian surfer who went viral after a hilarious appearance on the Today show last month looks set to take over the world after wowing Ellen DeGeneres.
Surf star, Sabre Norris was flown in from her hometown of Newcastle, NSW, to the US to appear on the Ellen Show.
'My mum said I had zero chance of getting on the Ellen show and I'm on the Ellen show,' she told a clearly charmed Ellen.
'My dad's a swimmer, he's an Olympic bronze medallist for swimming and if I want to be a swimmer I don't have to do any jobs but if I want to be a surfer I've got to do this gnarly list of jobs.'
Sabre had previously told Today show hosts Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilksinson in stitches when she told them her Olympic bronze-medalist dad Justin ‘was an athlete but now he’s um... pretty fat’.
She then explained to Ellen she ‘would die’ to go to Las Vegas because ‘there must be a buffet in every single hotel’.
‘Like you can get Krispy Kreme doughnuts for breakfast and lava cake for breakfast and crab legs for breakfast,’ she excitedly told the audience.
‘When I win a world title and I’m rich, I’m gonna go there to celebrate and I’m gonna eat whatever I want for breakfast, lunch and dinner.’
Luckily, generous Ellen was on hand to gift the youngster with plane tickets to Las Vegas to stay at the Planet Hollywood resort as well as an additional $500 - which set Sabre off screaming –and tickets to see her favourite singer, Justin Bieber in Sydney.
