Strangers are sharing their stories - and they're beautiful!

Luke Perry's sad death from a stroke at just 52-year-old has seen tributes pouring in from fellow actors - but it’s the incredible stories of Luke's kindness by NON-Hollywood stars that have touched his fans.

The heartfelt tributes flooded social media after the Beverly Hills, 90210 star's death was announced – and they’re all just lovely to read.

They show a man who – despite his star status in Hollywood – regularly undertook random acts of kindness and show Luke Perry, who also starred in Riverdale,  as a 'humble, decent dude'.

A writer called Eva Anderson tweeted that Luke had lived next door to her grandfather.

'Luke Perry was a truly lovely next-door neighbor to my grandfather and aunt. Like, he came over to replace light bulbs all the time. Sending so much love to his family. This is the worst,' she tweeted.

And her friends echoed the sentiment!

'This is how I'll remember him, too. At your grandpa's birthday being the really nice neighbor who helped with the trash cans,' she tweeted.

Others recalled him helping out however he could in Nashville, Tennessee during the devastating floods of 2010.

Luke, who owned property in the area, joined a group of volunteers to help those affected by distributing water and food.

'Y'all might know Luke Perry had some land here in Tennessee. Maybe you don't know that during the flood of 2010, he was out there bringing people food, bottles of water, and shoes. Just a humble, decent dude,' Josh Raby tweeted.

Even in his local Blockbuster Video, Luke was seen as a lovely guy!

And even a fan who met him when she was just 20 said that her encounter with him at dinner left her smiling!

She wrote, "Met Luke Perry when I was 20. I interrupted his dinner & he kindly took a pic w/ me. One of the most humble & kind people I’ve ever met. Blessed to have had that chance. I’m heartbroken he is gone way too soon. #90210 "

Another fan said she met the actor when she asked for a photo in the middle of a shopping mall.

'He was so lovely. A true heart of gold,' she said. 'He could see I was nervous and he insisted on getting me a glass of water. A true gent.'

Earlier today it was announced that Luke had died after suffering from a stroke at the end of last month.

“Actor Luke Perry, 52, passed away today after suffering a massive stroke,” read a statement from Perry’s spokesman.
